Doyle Branham (Born in 1950) The son of a coal miner, grew up in the mining town of Weeksbury, Kentucky during the 1950's to 1980's and watched the death of mining in the area. In the early 1990's he moved to Central Kentucky with his wife Karen, where jobs were readily available. After a serious accident in 2006 Mr. Branham begin writing stories to pass the time. Some of the stories he started years ago, but put aside and almost forgot about, as his job consumed most of his time. Now Living in Ivel, Kentucky Doyle spends most of his days writing. "I never thought so many stories could come out of my mind. It's like writing down what I see on T.V.," said Doyle.

THIS IS A COLLECTION OF THE DECENTENTS OF JOHN Calhoun Branham and Mahala Mosley taken from their ten known children. There are many interesting stories and associated connections within this family, but it is not my intent to get involved in them with this publication. It is my intent however to bring this great pioneering family's living decendents a little closer together, if only to

link their names.
